Is there a Family Pass option?
We do not currently have a family pass option. Our Gold Pass Season Pass includes a guest pass with unlimited visits as long as the guest attends with the pass holder. Feel free to call, and any of our team members can help you find the best bundle to maximize your value!
Are the perks of my Gold or Silver Pass shareable?
The Gold and Silver Passes are purchased per individual, and only some of their perks cannot be shared amongst other pass holders on the account.
Which perks does my guest receive if I have the Gold Pass?
Your guest will be to participate in Early Entry and Tanganyika Falls After Hours for free when attending with the Gold Pass holder, and gift cards can be used for any purchase that might benefit your guest. All other benefits are not shareable.
Will the Gold or Silver Passes come with entry to the Park during the offseason?
The Gold and Silver season passes are good for unlimited visits during Tanganyika’s regular season (March – November). However, the Gold and Silver passes will get you access to new experiences and activities after we close in November 2021, so you have the opportunity to stay connected with the animals and Team Tanganyika during the off-season.
What winter access and activities are included in the VIP Passes?
These are currently being developed and will become available starting November 2021.
Which “events” are redeemable under our Gold Passes?
These events are actually something new we are doing for 2021! An example would be an evening of entertainment from Dueling Pianos in The Courtyard next to Tanganyika Falls splash park. The Park’s annual fundraisers, such as Twilight Tour and Pumpkins in the Park, are not included.
How do we get our items such as gift cards, printed cards, t-shirt, and bumper magnets?
You can pick up your shirts, bumper stickers, or gift cards on your first visit or schedule a time to stop by the Gift Shop by emailing email@example.com so you can ensure someone will be there. If you are purchasing these as gifts and can’t come by before Christmas, let Bob (firstname.lastname@example.org) know that too, and he can make arrangements to have them shipped (shipping and handling may apply).
What is Early Entry?
In 2020, we started offering Early Entry to access the Park up to 1 hour before our regular hours. You’ll get to experience the Park waking up for the day, such as keepers preparing the animal’ habitats, animals eating their breakfast, and more! This is a great perk, especially during the heat of the summer!
When do we get to start using our passes?
We will reopen for the 2021 season in Mid-March!
Will either Gold or Silver passes still need to make reservations for visits and feedings?
You will still need to make reservations to visit with both passes. However, the Gold Pass allows you to participate in all the animal encounters without a reservation.

Will you be selling passes for animal feedings?
While we’ve been thrilled to see our number of Season pass holders grow over the last several years, and we love seeing how excited everyone is to connect with animals at our encounter stations, ultimately, we must consider our animals’ welfare first and foremost. Though our number of feeders has grown exponentially, the number of animals in our care has not, and we’ve reached a point where we need to balance creating a great experience for guests while making sure our animals have an adequate diet. For those of you that don’t wish to take advantage of the benefits from our Gold and Silver Passes, you’ll still be able to purchase a feeding wristband any time you visit.
How long are my passes good for?
These passes will be good from March to November. You’ll have unlimited visits during normal Park hours.
Can I upgrade my passes?
Yes! You can upgrade your passes at any point during our season. Just ask one of our support team, and they can assist you in your upgrade.
I bought passes for 2020 but didn’t visit. Are my passes good for 2021?
We know that season pass holders for 2020 may not visit the park until the coronavirus has come and gone. For this reason, we created a promise to our biggest fans to preserve their season pass. Simply put, if you weren’t able to visit the Park one single time in 2020, your passes are eligible to be preserved for 2021. The Connect and Preserve Promise only applies to the named season passes and guest passes and NOT Frequent Feeder passes, photo passes, etc.
How do we preserve our passes?
Click here and follow the steps to preserve your passes for 2021. The Connect and Preserve promise only applies to the named season passes and guest passes that were purchased.
Why is the Preservation Pass $1.99?
While we have tried to make the process as simple as possible for your, the preservation of your pass requires a significant amount of work on the backend, and the $1.99 is to help cover the cost of administering/processing the transfer. While the preservation of the Guest Pass is a one-time option, we will be allowing everyone that preserves their named season pass will have the bonus of locking in the $24.99 for future years.
Will my Frequent Feeder be preserved as well?
While we’ve been thrilled to see our number of Season pass holders grow over the last several years, and we love seeing how excited everyone is to connect with animals at our encounter stations, ultimately, we must consider our animals’ welfare first and foremost. Though our number of feeders has grown exponentially, the number of animals in our care has not, and we’ve reached a point where we need to balance creating a great experience for guests while making sure our animals have an adequate diet. Our support team has put a lot of thought and effort into developing benefits for our Gold and Silver Passes based on feedback from you. For those of you that don’t wish to take advantage of the benefits from the new Gold and Silver Passes, you’ll still be able to purchase a feeding wristband each time you visit.
Can I upgrade my Preservation Pass to one of the new Gold or Silver Passes?
Yes! Instead of having a Preservation Pass for 2021, you can choose to upgrade to a Gold or Silver Pass. If you’d like to do so, we can apply what you paid for your season pass in 2020 towards the new passes. Only one discount can be applied per individual. If you purchased Frequent Feeder passes in 2020, their value could also be applied towards your upgrade! Please note that discounts can only be applied for a one-time payment option.
