Season Passes

Lemur, Hippo, and Rhino Feedings all require reservations online. The link to reserve feeding times will be in your confirmation email after you reserve your entry time. 

Gold Pass Holders do not need reservations and can join the line at any time!

  •  You will receive unlimited visits to Tanganyika during the season purchased. You’ll also have access to the Tanganyika Falls splash park during regular hours. Memorial Day though Labor Day. 
  •  Plus, we offer a variety of discounts for Season Pass Holders:

Yes.  We have reserved a small percentage of spaces for each time slot exclusively for single-day admission guests.  Therefore, the Season Pass portal may show that tickets are unavailable for the time you are interested even though there is availability on the website.

The restrictions apply to Basic and Silver pass holders; Gold Pass holders are not restricted.

All passes are subject to  changed operating hours due to buy-outs and special events.

You can purchase season passes online, over the phone (316-794-8954), or come by Tanganyika to purchase them.

The Season Passes will expire at the end of the season they were purchased, which is generally in November. 

  • You do not need a pass for a child until they turn 3 years old, and guests over 90 will receive free entry to the Park. 
  • You can still have your child under 2 on your account and assign them a Baby Season Pass. 
No. Each pass is for a single individual. For example, our family of five from above (John, Jane, Luke, Clare, and Anna) want to visit TWP using season passes, they would purchase five season passes; one for each person.  They couldn’t purchase three season passes to mix and match between them. For instance:

  • If you have a situation that requires a different person to attend such as foster children, caregivers, etc, check out our Guest Pass that can be added to the account. 

There isn’t currently an option to purchase one pass that would include the entire family. It is something we have considered, but do not offer at this time. 

 You do NOT need an ID (driver’s license, passport, etc) to purchase passes. However, adults will need a photo ID to enter the Park unless they have uploaded their photos to their account. 

We are taking extra measures due to COVID-19, and are requiring all guests to make reservations for their visit. 

When you’re ready, Basic and Silver season pass holders can make reservations here!  Gold Pass holders will receive a link to an exclusive portal for all their benefits. When you make your reservation, you will select your entry time, a 30-minute window for arrival. Once you’re checked in, you’re welcome to stay until we close for the day!

We will still scan your digital pass or printed card when you arrive, so only select 1 ticket for each pass holder or guest (if you have a guest pass) that will be entering with you at the time selected. If you don’t have your digital pass, any adult on the account can show their photo ID to check-in your group. 

We don’t mail out season pass cards. However, you can use digital passes or print out your own cards by accessing them through the member portal (see above). 

  • To access your digital passes, log in to the member portal.  Once logged in, you will see the digital pass section with a button that says, “Check Out Your Passes”, which will take you to the digital passes.
  • If you don’t have your access to your digital pass, we just need one member from your party to check-in with a photo ID.  If they are children and don’t have a photo ID, we can still check them in.  It also helps to have the digital pass, so you can access your discounts and encounters.
  • Helpful Hint:  You can upload a photo of each person so that the blank icon above shows their face.  Then we don’t need a photo ID for that person.

To interact with the animals, you will have the option to purchase an Encounter Pass (5 feedings for $10) or Unlimited Encounters (unlimited feedings for the day, for $25) each time you visit. 

Your child does not need an ID to be checked in. However, we recommend that their photo is uploaded to the membership portal, so we can ensure it is them. 

Yes! You are able to upgrade your passes at any point during our season. Just ask one of our support team and they can assist you in your upgrade.

gold and silver season passes

All of our passes available are for an individual. Our Gold Pass Season Pass includes a Guest Pass with unlimited visits as long as the guest attends with the pass holder. Feel free to call, and any of our team members can help you find the best bundle to maximize your value!

The Gold and Silver Passes are purchased per individual, and their perks cannot be shared amongst other pass holders on the account.

Your guest will be to participate in Early Entry and an Unlimited Feeding wristband for free when attending with the Gold Pass holder, and gift cards can be used for any purchase that might benefit your guest. All other benefits are not shareable.

The Gold and Silver season passes are good for unlimited visits during Tanganyika’s regular season (March – November).  However, the Gold and Silver passes will get you access to new experiences and activities after we close in November 2022 so you have the opportunity to stay connected with the animals and Team Tanganyika during the off-season.

Special Ambassador Animal Days, Enrichment Making Workshops, Park Access (weather permitting). Gold and Silver Season Pass Holders will be notified via text when weather permits park to be open. Make sure to check before coming out!

You can pick up your bumper magnet and t-shirt on your first visit to the Park after opening for the season. If you purchased your pass during our Holiday sale and have a bonus gift card, it is stored on your account and acts as stored value. The Gift Card can be used on anything inside the Park except for our annual fundraisers.

We offer Early Entry during the summer months to access the Park up to one hour before the Park opens. You’ll get to experience the Park waking up for the day, such as keepers preparing the animal’ habitats, animals eating their breakfast, and more! This is a great perk, especially during the heat of the summer!

You will still need to make reservations to visit with both passes.  However, the Gold Pass allows you to participate in all the animal encounters without a reservation.
