Here's What Carrie & Stephanie had to say:

One of my teachers had a connection with a former student who works there, and we were looking for a virtual option to tie into our school-wide book. To be honest, we first looked at the KC Zoo, and their offerings were pre-recorded, and didn't really match what we were looking for. Then, the teacher suggested Tanganyika. Your virtual offerings were tailored to meet what we were looking for, and you were so flexible and easy to work with. Highly engaging for our students, tailored to meet our needs, easy to work with, affordable price, ability to stream to multiple classrooms AND our virtual students! For all of the reasons I've already mentioned, I would recommend, and in fact, I already have passed along your info to another school who is participating in the same school-wide read aloud. The engagement of the students; they loved being able to ask questions, and see the animals up close.

I would highly recommend booking ANY experience with Tanganyika. I have scheduled many virtual field trips with a wide range of different animals. Each experience has been outstanding. They have been both educational and fun! The staff members are very friendly and easy to work with. Our partnership with Tanganyika has allowed us to provide a great virtual experience for our patrons. I always look forward to our visits.

Environmental Education Tip:

Make sure to pair your virtual program with an outdoors activity! If your program is about habitats, send your students on a nature walk, encourage them to look under a rock or a log, or spend some time birdwatching!
