Safari of Lights Website Banner

Want to go on safari? How about a Christmas light safari – in your own backyard! 🎄🦒 🎅🏾 Tanganyika offers locals and holiday guests the largest drive-thru winter light extravaganza the Wichita area has ever seen. Expect dazzling lights animated to your favorite classic Christmas sing-alongs. This will be 20-25 minutes of timeless fun that you and your family will remember and cherish forever. Upgrade your experience with hot cocoa and popcorn or bring your own snacks and beverages! 100% of the proceeds from this event will go to care for the rare and endangered animals that call Tanganyika home. Even though the Park is closed to daily traffic, they need the same level of care all winter long!

5 Reasons To Make This a Holiday Tradition:

  1. Give the kids a reason to put down their screens!
  2. Families can come together and be present for under an hour. Create memories that last a lifetime.
  3. Get out of the house, while remaining safe during COVID-times in the warmth and comfort of your own space.
  4. Great date night and new tradition for couples.
  5. Enjoy knowing you are giving back to the community.

Affordable entry AND 1st 1,000 guests will receive a FREE Gift – Only $25 per car on weekends and $20 during the week. Tickets will go on sale in mid-November. Click here to be one of the first to know!

Wildly Different Animals

There’s still time to get up-close and personal with your favorite animals at Tanganyika before we close for daily traffic on Sunday, November 14th.

Spend some time with Nutmeg the Bongo (pictured above) or feed Cobweb or one of her Spider Monkey friends (pictured below). These experiences are very educational.
