SOMETHING NEW FOR YA!
🎂 BIRTHDAY BUNGALOWS 🎂

Are you planning a birthday party ? What if we could transport you to Africa to relax in a climate-controlled bungalow while our private wait staff takes care of your every need and your children play safely nearby? Did we mention that this is in your own backyard! No need for expensive flights or navigating airport security.

Our brand-new cabanalows are nearly complete. These fully-furnished, semi-private rental spaces are larger than a typical cabana and are designed to look just like an African bungalow. Each cabanalow is uniquely designed and has plenty of amenities. Plus, you’ll have your own exclusive entrance to the splash park. Grab 24 of your closest friends and family members and have a wildly different birthday at Tanganyika Wildlife Park.

These cabanalows are in high demand and are already booking out for the summer. Sign up now to be added to our waitlist and we will notify you when the next one is available.

🦊 MONTHLY EXCLUSIVE EXPERIENCES 🐧

meet a fox
Bat-Eared Fox Experience

What is a bat-eared fox? As their name suggests, this beautiful animal has unusually large ears in comparison to the size of its head similar to that of a bat. Admit it – you want to touch those ears!

Learn more facts about these incredible animals during July. Our resident bat-eared fox couple, Todd and Tillie, are sometimes overlooked due to their small size and quiet nature, but don’t let that stop you from spending some quality time with them. Will you participate in training Todd and Tillie or prepare fun enrichment activities for them? No two experiences are the same. Book yours today, and get up close and personal with Todd and Tillie.

Trouble Makers Cove Painting Experience

Do you know why we call it Trouble Makers Cove? As the name implies, the residents of Trouble Makers Cove can be quite mischievous, and they have been quite clear about how they feel about being left out of the art show! We listened to their request and created this unique monthly exclusive for them – and for you!

When you book this experience, you will have an opportunity to choose the animal who will paint a one-of-kind piece of artwork for you to take home. Will you paint with Sydney, the two-toed sloth or the trio of noisey otters or even one of our African penguins? The choice is yours! Just be prepared for the unexpected.

🦊 ANIMAL(S) OF THE MONTH! 🦊

fox
Todd & Tillie

Todd and Tillie are our resident bat-eared fox couple! When Todd first came to Tanganyika he was afraid of everyone, he didn’t trust people, and he wasn’t sure about us. His keepers were patient with him and showed him lots of love. Now, he enjoys spending time with them. If you’re lucky, he’ll even rub his face on you! Like a typical fox, Tillie, tends to be a bit more cautious. She’s happy to let Todd check things out while she naps in the shade nearby. But, she will often venture out for her favorite delicacy . . . mealworms.

Spend some time with this adorable couple during this month’s exclusive experience!

🌟 NATIONAL ZOOKEEPER WEEK 🌟

July 18-24 is National Zookeeper Week.

Keep an eye on our Facebook page where we will be highlighting several of our keepers, and sharing some of their most memorable stories. Our keepers are the heart of Tanganyika. They all work hard every single day to care for our animals. We are incredibly grateful for all they do. Their commitment, love, and passion for our animals is clear to anyone who meets them.

Be sure to thank a keeper when you come to visit.
