1.- Safari of Lights at Tanganyika Wildlife Park
Do you want to see the largest Christmas light display in Wichita while supporting an amazing cause?! If so, then you CANNOT miss the Safari of Lights at Tanganyika Wildlife Park! Boasting nearly a mile of wildlife themed holiday lights and decorations, this light show is unlike any other Christmas lights that you have ever witnessed! Imagine the excitement on your children’s faces the first time they see the tallest animated Christmas tree in Wichita! While you and your family are strolling enjoying the lights, you can enjoy a big bag of popcorn and hot chocolate!
We know that quality family time is hard to come by, especially during the holidays, which is why the Safari of Lights makes the perfect evening for families to bond!
This holiday experience will run from November 25th to January 1st. Tickets cost $20 per car, Sunday through Thursday, and $25 per car, Friday and Saturday.

2.- Sedwick County Zoo Wild Lights
If you are searching for things to do in Wichita during the holidays, Sedgwick County Zoo Wild lights is another event to have on your list. At this event, you will have the opportunity to walk through the zoo and experience beautiful wildlife themed Asian lantern displays. Visitors have the chance to stroll through their evening under the stars while being surrounded by large, life-sized sculptures.
This Christmas Lights event will be open from 6 – 9 p.m. every Wednesday through Sunday till December 4th, with tickets ranging from $15 to $17 per person.
3.- Illuminations Botanica
Wichita Botanical Garden Christmas light displays boast over 2 million lights, including a 62-foot-tall mega Christmas tree, that will leave you and your family in awe! In addition to amazing lights, Illuminations offers interactive activities for all ages including the Funky Tree, the Meadow Show choreographed to music, the Khicha Family Carousel, and the opportunity to visit Santa any night through December 23rd!
Tickets are $13 for adult non-members and $9 for members, and kids 2 and under are free!
4.- The Lights at Ability Point
This Christmas light display boasts 1.5 million dazzling lights, that will sure to put even the Grinch in the holiday spirit! Formerly known as the Arc Lights, this display has been a staple of holiday tradition in Wichita for decades. Lights at Ability Point also support an amazing cause: all money raised directly benefits people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The cost of visiting this light show is $10 per carload.
5.- Fulton Family Farm
Are you searching for a down home, country Christmas light experience? If so, Fulton Family Farm Christmas display is perfect for you! This country Christmas light spectacular boasts over 800,000 lights synchronized to Christmas Music!
This display has activities for everyone in the family, your little kids can come to take a picture with Santa every evening, a Living Nativity Vignette with Music nightly at 7:30 pm, a Children’s Hay Maze, and Ice Castle Tent!
They also offer snacks such as hot chocolate, candy, a popcorn bar, and homemade Christmas cookies! Visits are from November 25th through December 16th, from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm!
