Black-Footed Penguins: The population of black-footed (jackass) penguins has decreased from more than a million
in the early 1900s to just 150,000 today.

Now you can experience Tanganyika Wildlife Park in a whole new way! Every wednesday through August Tanganyika will stay open to 8:30 PM. During the summer animals tend to nap during the middle of the day, but as the evening rolls around they become very active. So it is a great time to get up close and personal with some of the rarest species in the World. In addition, there will be a band playing from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, so parents can enjoy the great music while the kids play on the playground right next to the covered Pavilion. Worried about dinner? You don't have to be because Tanganyika will keep the concession stand open until 8:30 PM, so you can enjoy one of our tasty 1/4 pound hotdogs and a refreshing beverage. Finally, every Wild Wednesday you will recieve a

Free Child with paid Adult all day long

If you haven't been to Tanganyika this is a great opportunity to see the Wildlife Park. If you have already been to Tanganyika, get ready to see the Wildlfie Park in a whole new light. This is a Widly Different Experience you don't want to miss.
